This 3-day training begins with an introduction to knowing your organization; strategic planning; and assessment and concludes with infrastructure development; resources & sustainability; and marketing, communication, and advocacy- with so much more on day 2!
- On each day, attendees will receive instruction followed by various application exercises to equip newly developed and established organizations to complete assessments and strengthen their organization.
- Attendees will assess their organization for strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats; infrastructure; diversity and dignity; and more!

Meet The Presenters:
Philip Rutherford is the Chief Operating Officer at Faces & Voices of Recovery. He is a recovery coach, a passionate member of the Recovery Community, and possesses a self-described Doctorate from the school of Hard Knocks. As COO, he is responsible for multiple lines of business within the Faces & Voices ecosystem. Phil is credited with a significant role in the conception, design, launch, and facilitation of the Recovery Data Platform (RDP). This cloud-based platform is the first of its kind and has quickly become a valuable asset in longitudinal data collection for Peer-Based Services.
Marianna Horowitz has more than 6 years of experience working with systems, peer education, recovery community organization (RCO) development. Ms. Horowitz has been a senior project coordinator for Faces & Voices of Recovery since February of 2020. She is the point contact for recovery community organizations (RCOs) and for Association of Recovery Community Organization (ARCO) members. Prior to joining Faces & Voices of Recovery, she worked as a program coordinator for the Pennsylvania statewide RCO running a statewide training program for peers pursuing a peer credential and supporting RCOs across the state.
